The End is but the Beginning

As you all know...YOU my WORLD SUPPORT TEAM have been beside me through thick and thin...through elation and pain...so much so that I now look at the end of the Season at which I have completed 6 months of competition...24 weekends.....roughly 30 Races over that period!! In retrospect this has been a great Season....Undefeated over the 100m....Fastest Time in the World for the 100m!....Fastest Time in the World for the 200m!.....Yes I can probably say and you may agree with me that its been a good year.

WHERE TO NOW?......Well as I now have to deal with my two injuries....the Specialist has advised strongly that I do not compete tomorrow in the New South Wales State Championships...My right shoulder has a tendon that has been torn off the bone...so I have been competing for the last four months with this injury!....How I managed to break the NEW SOUTH WALES COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS RECORD is a source of wonder and a great tribute to your encouragement....thank you all.

I will be upgrading this Blog with details of my recovery and training for the World Championships in Italy in September....so stay tuned.....lots of good things are happening and you will be able to connect to exactly what I'm doing.....its going to be exciting.....

Live Brilliantly until next we meet.....John

A good year?...........mate that's an understatement. Amazing, stupendous, fantastic comes to mind. Sorry to hear your injury prevented you from competing, but hey, the best is yet to come and better to get the machine honed and ready for Italy. I too have had a shoulder injury, so I know how you feel. Although not as serious, my recovery has been 100 percent successful. My strength has come back and I tested it out yesterday. 130 kilo incline bench for 6 reps, and not a touch of pain or discomfort. So Im on my way back to my best again............and it feels awesome. I will have to touch base with about Italy, because there is damn good chance we can come to chear you on. Take care John.
